I am here in the US on H4 visa and my I 140 has already been approved alongwith my husbands.
I am planning for a medical residency and most of them grant the J1 visa.

Q1. How will my I 140 affect my acquisition for J 1?

Q.2 Is it possible that i withdraw my I 140 and then get J 1?

Q3.And can i be the only one to withdraw and not my husband?

Q4. or should I search for residencies that sponsor H1?
