I just wanted to share with you about my experience with getting the I140 approved.

I have a 3 year BSC from India. No PG degree or diploma.

I had 2 denials so far. 1 based on education. The other one I dont know as the employer didnt tell me. Both were from the same employer whose financial position and practices are doubtful to me.

After 2 denials I changed my employer to another consulting firm which is much more solid and goes by the book. They filed my I140 last year and I got the approval this week. We got an evaluation as Associate degree and filed in EB3 Skilled category. I dont have any details on how labor or I140 was filed. So I wont be able to share that.

But the key to getting the approval is to go with a company that is financially sound and has a solid record and get the evaluation based on the degreet type and file the labor accordingly.

I hope this helps everyone with just a 3 year degree. I would still reccomend getting a govt accredited Bachelor degree or diploma. 3 year will always be risky.
