Feasiblity of EB3 to EB2 Conversion

I know this is a oft asked question and I have seen lots of discussions on the forum regarding this. However I have not seen my particular question asked so here goes.

I have a 3 years Bachelor degree (B.Sc Physics). I am in EB3 category with approved I-140 and priority date of Dec-2005. This is my second GC filing since my first company shutdown. I did retain the priority date of Dec-2005 though in refiling. I have been with the current company for 4 years now. I have total experience in my current field (QA) 7 years. I been in US total for 7 years. Total IT experience of 11 years.
I am looking at the feasibility of switching from EB3 to EB2 with redoing the labor in EB2 and the filing for 140 in premium while attaching the old one to retain priority date. I understand I will need a different and higher job offer from my current employer (or a different one for that matter) to do this.
My question give my education (3yrs degree) and work experience is this feasible ?
