My employer recently applied for my I140. I have not heard anything about receipt number yet. Does anyone know how long it takes to get the receipt number?

Also, I may end up leaving the employer. Any opinion on whether big software employers withdraw I140 applications after employee leaves the company?

Questions:

- I looked at the I140 premimum processing upgrade form (I-907). It looks like it requires a receipt number. A dumb question - Is it possible to upgrade to premimum processing without the receipt number?

- Has anyone seen that the employer/manager continues with the I140 processing after the employee leaves? If yes, what would be a good reason for the employer to continue with the processing. How can the manager convince the HR?

I want to apply for I-140.For that My attorney told me that I need to collect experience letters from my previous employers.Can somebody please post that format for experience letter for this purpose.
