I checked the recent visa numbers and the priority date for employment based category for India is Jan 2005.

I am preparing my EB2-NIW documents. Will I have to wait until my visa number is open to file I-485?

Can I file both I-140 and I-485 concurrently to receive my EAD and AP?

You are not eligible to apply concurrently if your priority date is not current.
