Immigration Site

My appeal (NIW) was sent to the AAO last March and Im still waiting for their decision. My current situation is very serious. My working visa ends at the end of October this year (less than 3 months) and my employer who renewed my another one more year contract until next year does not want to renew my working visa extension (this is very strange).

What can I do to stay in the U.S.? Im thinking of EB1-1 application along with the EAD. Ive got 7 journal articles in the chemical dependency field. I looked at the criteria of the EB1-1 category and my qualifications easily meet more than 5 requirements listed in the web site. I dont have a novel award or similar one, but I may be qualified to apply for EB1-1 that may let me stay in the U.S for another one more year.

I would appreciate any suggestions or thoughts regarding this matter.
