My EB1b was denied in question of my permanent position despite my bosss strong reconfirmation letter.
I know the other Centers approved EB1b even for postdoctoral position. So, I feel it is unfair. Almost every university in the US has the same policy for scientist positions (their jobs are dependent on funding availability). Why do not other centers make reference to "so-called permanent position"? Does anybody know whats going on with this center? I would like to know other universitiess experience. Please share your information. Thanks much!

Your case is kind of unique to this forum so we dont have suggestions.
If I were you I would find a lawyer if you have done it yourself previously and do motion to reopen. I read some people got approved within days after reopen the case.
Thank you very much for your suggestion. I will file a motion. Hope I will get the positive decision too.
Thanks!

I’m not sure if you used DIY for your 140. University usually discourages you to find a lawyer because they consider themselves doing lawyer’s jobs. However, it’s a good time to find a good lawyer for yourself. I know university never pay any fees. There are some AAO threads in this forum and check those out.
