Guys,

My lawyer told that he has filed my I-140 last month and gave me a receipt number starting with SRC . I checked my case online by entering the receipt number and it says the below :-

Receipt Number: SRCxxxxxxxxxxxx

Application Type: I129, PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER

Current Status:

Your I129 PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER was received on May 17, 2004.

What does this imply ? Should not it say that I-140 was received if indeed I-140 was applied .

Any help would be highly appreciated.

your lawyer gave you incorrect receipt number. Check with your lawyer

Just curiously ... what does SRC stand for?.. what does it mean?
