Question on AOS

Hi all,

Am new to this whole process. Getting married in August- am currently on an F1 visa and marrying a US Citizen. If I am looking in the right place, my I-20 is good until 8/2012 (it says student is expected to start no sooner than 8/2010 and have their studies completed by 8/2012- am I looking in the right place??)

I think were going to file all the forms ourselves, but wanted to know if you would suggest going to a lawyer beforehand to make sure weve completed the forms correctly.

Thanks,

Peter

If you have money go through a laywer. If not, it is easy ,you can always get help here. Every one will help you

Thanks. I agree, if I had money Id do it all through a lawyer.

But my question concerned going through a lawyer for checking up- do you think it is a good idea to do that?

I agree with you concerning that it is easy- however, the one drawback is that USCIS is so picky that 1 mistake and youre doomed. Right?

if you fing a laywer who will gothrough the application for a nominal fee , it would be great.
