When can I apply for US citizenship
Hello:
i got the GC through my uncle(fathers brother) in 2004...at that time I was studying in India...I came to US for renew my green card...
Here are the dates that I visit US
2004 Dec 20(came to US at first time) -2005 Jan 5 (went back to India) ----STAYED ONLY 16 DAYS IN US
I got 2 years leave , coz i was doing my masters degree there.
Again I came back in
2007 March 23 (came to US again) -2007 March 30(went back to India)
Stayed in US only a week, went to India to complete my masters
After 6 months I came to US after my marriage , he is not a citizen / GC holder.
2007 Sep 21 (we settled in US ) - 2009 April 5(went to India with my baby)
I came back after 2 months
2009 June 11 - At present.
So when can I apply for my citizenship..Pls help.

•Have continuous residence in the United States as a lawful permanent resident for at least 5 years immediately preceding the date of filing Form N-400.
•Be physically present in the United States for at least 30 months out of the 5 years immediately preceding the date of filing Form N-400.
You will need to fulfill the 5 years of CONTINUOUS RESIDENCY rule.
