question about become a citizeni hope somebody can help me i came in usa in april 12 2008 through cr1 visa (conditonal visa) through my husband then january 2010 i apply for removal of condital visa and went to the interview and passed and i gat my new green card on augest 2010. my question is when i can apply citizenship april 2011 or 3 year from 2010 so please help me.
IF you are still married to the same USC spouse, assuming that 4/12/2008, was either your entry date on a visa or date of adjustment in the U.S., you simply add 2 years, 9 months and 1 day to that April date. That means you were able to apply (IF OTHERWISE ELIGIBLE) on or after January 13, 2011. What are you waiting for?

The 3 years of residence starts counting when you got your conditional card in 2008. You are allowed a 90-day headstart; day 90 was in January so you are past that and you can apply now, if youre still married to and living with the same US citizen.
