Important question
Can somebody tell me if filing for bankruptcy will affect change of status (Im on F1 category, unmarried over 21 son of USC). Can this be a reason for denial of green card??

What is your current immigration status? Whose bankruptcy is it -- yours, or the USC parent who is sponsoring you?
Few months away for priority date to be current, Im the one thinking filing for bankruptcy....
Your own bankruptcy doesnt matter, as long as you dont become a public charge or be illegally present in the US.
