Adjustment packet - how to prove name change

Hi,
I am about to submit all my required forms for the adjustment packet. I have filled out all the forms in my married name as this is the name I wish to take. My marriage license does not state anywhere on it that I am or am not taking my husbands name. I dont have any documents in my married name yet as I can not change any of them until I have changed my name with Homeland Security so I am assuming that if I have filled out all my forms and signed them in my married name, that they will realize that is the name I wish to take??
Please help!!

Your marriage certificate is normally accepted as proof of your name change, if the name change is only to take your husbands last name, and you decide to start consistently using your married name for other documents.

However, because you dont have anything else with your married name, and probably cant obtain anything else until your immigration documents have changed, you can take a different approach: Fill out the green card paperwork in your maiden name. Then at the interview, show your marriage certificate and request that the green card be printed with your husbands last name. After approval they will issue the GC with your married name, then you can use the green card + marriage cert. to assist with updating your drivers license and other documents.

Thank you Jackolantern!
I have already filled everything out in my married name, so I think I will just send it as is... maybe attach a letter stating that I am taking on my husbands last name?
