AOS Interview at PA - ( 1day early filed)
We had interview today. its went fine. The problem is that they received the package on 31st Oct. 2010. & my priority date is in Nov. 2010.
on my NOA for I-485 its receipt date : 4th Nov. 2010
But Interview letter priority date is : 31st Oct. 2010.
He took my I-94 with him.
So, its mistake of 1 day early filing. Now, lets see what happen. He told me that you might be need to file again.
Please provide more background of your case so we can figure out if there is any cause for concern. Is it based on marriage to a US citizen? If not, who is the petitioner and when was the I-130 filed?
Category is F2A, marriage based on PR.
OCT Visa Bulletin: 2A 01APR10 [these are All Country dates]
NOV Visa Bulletin: 2A 01JUN10
I-485 filed on: 11/04/10 or 10/31/10???
What was the I-130 filing date?
The I-130 filing date is the "priority date" for F2A filing eligibility (it must be "current" for the month in which you file for you Immigrant Visa and,
for AOS one must be in a lawful nonimmigrant status on the I-485 filing date.
