DV Selectee - Can I get a waiver if my wife is now pregnant??
Hi,
I am a 2011 DV selectee in Australia. Before I applied my partner and I were unmarried. After I got selected we got married and now shes pregnant!!
We are scheduled to have our interview with the consulate in Australia in February and I understand that, assuming we pass, wed need to go to the US by 30 September and stay for 183 days a year for the first few years... Now that were having a baby were trying to find out if we can put off moving to the US for a year or two.
Has anyone ever been in this situation? If you get through the interview, is there some way your can postpone leaving for a year or two
