Work authorization

Hello everyone,

Can anyone suggest me anything regarding my situation.
I have a green card and currently in a process of getting citizenship. My wife is on F1 visa. We got married last year. I know that she can apply for a green card as soon as I get my citizenship. However my question is following, is there anyway that she can get work authorization right now. Do I have to wait until I will get my citizenship?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance. Student visas qualify for certain employment. She needs to talk to her Designated School Official (DSO). For part-time on-campus work she does not need a USCIS works card.

Thanks BigJoe5.

I assume you are talking about Higher education. My wife is on ESL program. It is a small language center that can issue I-20s. When my wife spoke to school officials about work authorization under F1 visa, they could not give her any answer.
I know that you can work legally up to 20 hours a week, if you are in college. However she is not in college yet.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Thanks Then, she will have to wait to file for adjustment after you naturalize.
