Topic1 I-130 for my brother.....

I-130 for my brother.....

I am applying for i-130 for my brother. He has a son who is 16 years old and I need to include him in the application. What are the chances of my nephew getting green card when the priority date becomes current for my brother???...

Can my nephew apply for a F-1(student) visa in a few years?. Will there be any chances of rejection due to the i-130 application filed by me?

Thanks

A potential F1 visa applicant may not have immigrant intent.

Look at the current visa bulletin for country of chargeability.

Thanks It will take arount 10 years for your I-130 to result in a visa for your brother, his spouse and underage kids. Your 16 y/o nephew will age out of your I-130. Your I-130 should not prevent a genuine student visa application from being granted. He could graduate college before his parents get a visa from your I-130.
