Im not a pro, and I would be pretty scared in your situation since its been 10 years, but I think it depends on the states too... I was a visa waiver overstay for 2 years and I got my green card last month, no questions asked about why I overstayed even. But 10 years... I dont know. I was also told on here that I probably wont get approved and was shown all the articles... Its better to let you knwo that it wont be easy, but in the end its your decision, and I hope you keep us all updated. You guys can always live in your country if you dont get approved, I would imagine its nicer not to live in fear all the time and to be able to work...
