Jan 2011 Retrogression and Interview dateAs some of you might know that on Jan 1, 2011, F2A will have a major retrogression. My question is, if an IV applicant has already been scheduled for interview in January, will he be affected by this retrogression if on the day of the interview PD is not current?
With all the I-485s filed before the end of this month, all F2Bs may enjoy the PD of Aug 1st, 2010.
It depends on the date of I-485 filing not the date of the interview, so all the people reading this hurry up and file your I-485 to avoid the major retrogression in F2B if your PD is before Aug 1, 2010.
