Topic1 CSPA for GC

CSPA for GC

Hi
I am working in USA under H1 visa
My family based Greencard is under process and according to cspa I am under 21.
Is there any problem while doing this or do I have to tell my employer?

Thanks inadvance

IF your lawyer confirmed for you that you benefit from CSPA and you do get a greencard from it, then it would be the courteous thing to do to inform your employer IF your employer had initiated an I-140 for you. Also, once you get a greencard, you need to inform your employer regarding the I-9 and you would need to inform Social Security of the status change.

Goos Luck,

No need to tell your employer before your family-based GC is approved, unless you want to work for them with an EAD instead of H1B.
