How to add child name in F4 petition, and how to correct petitioners changed name.

Hi Friends,

I am a member of this forum since 2002. and answered lot of questions, and even created http://www.gujaratiamerican.com for community for FREE.

I have 2 questions.

(1) My friend filed F4 petition for her married brother in Oct 2002. Her married brother got baby girl in 2005. But her(Baby) name was not included in the application.
What is the procedure to include her(baby) name in the F4 petition?

(2) Same friend got name changed also during her citizenship process in 2002. Her previous name was Padma, but after/during citizenship, she changed her name to Patty. For new name Patty, she has US Citizenship card, passport, driving licence etc. too. She has name change proof also.

But while applying for her brothers F4 petition, she used her old name Padma by mistake. How to correct that part?

So, in future, when her brothers case become current (in 6 months it shoulde be), no confusion/chellenges should trouble her.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

For new name Patty, she has US Citizenship card, passport, driving licence etc. too. She has name change proof also.

But while applying for her brothers F4 petition, she used her old name Padma by mistake. How to correct that part? When she filed the I-130, did she submit a copy of her passport and/or naturalization certificate with her new name, along with her birth certificate (which would have her original name), along with a copy of the name change document?

If the petition is still at NVC, information can be added to the file by contacting them. SEE: http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigra...info_3177.html

If the file has already been sent to the consulate, the brother can supply the additional information and documents during the Immigrant Visa processing.
