Guys,
I am ready to file the I-130 for my wife. I am aware of the importance of filing the right kind of forms and documents when filing to save time and efforts. My questions are:
Which option to file is better electronic or paper?
Which forms and documents needed to be filed?
when to file 129 F for non-immigrant visa?
In instruction for I-130, i see that evidence of co mingling financial or residence are needed. But how am i going to do that as my spouse is in overseas and i am in US.
Any help to start the process correctly will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Mian
No need of co mingling of assets for Consular processing. Your wife will take supporting documents such as Wedding Pictures, email/phone records etc at the interview.
You will just need to file a I-130 with Marriage Certificate with translation if not in English, Two G-325a forms, one filled with your info and one for your wife and proof of USC.
You cannot file these online.
Once you send the forms with the appropriate fees, you will get a Receipt of I-130 filing in about 2-3 weeks after you file, you need a copy of that Receipt to file with the I-129F.
There is no fee to file the I-129F.
