Parents green card interview experience

I applied green card for my parents and they just received letter regarding their interview at San Jose office next month. can anyone who had similar experiences share the interview process/questions with me? I talked with some friends and their parents never got interview when they applied green card. Did my parents do something wrong?

Also, my parents used visitor visa to get into USA, will the interview officer have their non-immigration visa application information?

Thank you very much.

An interview for a family based greencard is a routine, if someone didt get interviewed, THAT is the exception. Employment based greencard adjustments only get interviewed if the applicants have "issues" that must be addressed in person.

The I-485 required the I-94 and valid nonimmigrant entry in order to be filed, of course USCIS knows this. Did they have true nonimmigrant intent when they obtained the B-2 visas (just guessing they had B-2s) and when they last entered as "tourists"? Of course, maybe they had some other type(s) of visa(s).

If any lies were told, such lies can be held against them in the AOS process. Such a situation can result in requiring a waiver OR possibly I-485 denial and forced to go through Consular Processing and a still require a waiver.

We are parents of USC and were interviewed last month. I think it is the norm
