Hi,
My wife and I filed a petition to remove her conditional GC using form I-751. We also got a letter informing us that her conditional GC is extended for another year. Its been a little over a month since we sent the application. I have two questions?
1.) How long before we get a response to see whether or not her conditional GC gets removed? We filed using the vermont service center.
2.) Is it okay for her to travel with her conditional GC given that it was suppose to expire at the end of December but she got it extended for another year, making the expiration date at the end of December of 2011? We are planning on going to Japan to visit her family in March 2011.
Thanks,
Kenny
Yes you can travel with the expired GC With the 1 year extension letter.
That is half the reason the I-751 extension letter is issued to the applicant
