Immigration Site

Hello,
I had filed I130 for wife and kid (I am a GC). The application was sent on Nov.26, 2010 and was signed for at Chicago on Nov.29, 2010. The application fee check was cashed on Dec.13, 2010. I have not yet received the confirmation email or text message. Please advise.
Is my application in jeopardy ??? If the application is rejected for whatever reason - mistakes, incomplete documentation..... will the check still be cashed ?
