Whats "a copy of the beneficiarys marriage certificate"?

Im a naturalized U.S. citizen. I filed I-130 petition for my brother who has been in his home country. He got married recently after I filed the petition. I want to add his wife to his I-130 petitition and asked NVC about required documents.

NVC (National Visa Center) told me to submit the following documents:

- a copy of the beneficiarys marriage certificate;
- a copy of the derivative spouses birth certificate;
- a copy of the derivative spouses passport.

Since his marriage certificate is not in English, shall I ask him to get it notarized in English, so that I can submit a notarized marriage certificate in English?

Also, since his wifes passport is not in English, shall I ask her to get it notarized in English as well?

Thanks,

You get them send to you via email as attachment, you translate it and certify that its a true translation of the documents with them and send it to NVC.

Thanks for the reply! Will the notary public accept my own translation of the marriage certificate?

You dont need a notary.
