My mother is a co-sponsor for my wife and we need to use some of my mothers stocks to meet the financial requirement.

What do I need to show proof of the stock as an asset? My mother has her most recent statement from the investment company showing approximately $25,000 which is more than enough. Do I just need a copy of that recent statement? Or is there anything else I would need.
