I-864 income requirement and I-131

Hi,

I am applying for a green card on the basis of marriage to a US citizen.
I have a doubt regarding form I-864 affidavit of support.
My wife stays home currently. I have been working for 3.5 months now, before that i was unemployed. My current income is around $45000/year.
can my income be included to help us qualify for the income requirement? Will there be any sort of problem because of this?

My second question is regarding form I-131. I read that i can submit this form with I-485.
My doubt is that in part 2 application type, which box should i select. I am on Student post completion OPT now and i am filing all the forms concurrently.
Also part 3 asks for date of intended departure and expected length of trip. I am not planning to go until i get permanent residence, but wanted to get the travel documents just in case of emergency. How can i file I-131 now?

If your income is from legally authorized employment that is expected to continue after you obtain the green card, you can add it on the I-864 (see question 24(b)).

Unfortunately, your OPT may not qualify if your employer doesnt plan to switch you from the short-term OPT arrangement to permanent employment.

Also part 3 asks for date of intended departure and expected length of trip. I am not planning to go until i get permanent residence, but wanted to get the travel documents just in case of emergency. How can i file I-131 now? Just make an educated guess of a travel date. Theyre not going to penalize you for traveling on a different date or not traveling at all.
