Hello,

I just want to find out what happens if you do not put your middle name in I-130 or DS 230 forms? Does it affect the processing of the case?

As tradition in India, we generally have our fathers name as our middle name in our passport. But in the US, people generally do not use their middle name. So I was just wondering if I do not use my middle name as in passport when filing I-130 for my wife what happens?.I am a US green-card holder..

You put the name exactly as it is on your BC, Passport or Ration card etc.

Why do you want to leave out your middle name? Is it on your birth certificate or not?

But in the US, people generally do not use their middle name. In the US people usually dont use their middle name in day-to-day life, but they will put their middle name or middle initial on important legal documents like their passport, Social Security card, drivers license, car registration, etc.
