Hi, Im new to here. Im posting for a friend of mine. He is a foreign Asian guy engaged to a black girl. His family in Asia is conservative and racist. They do not want a black daughter in law. So on the international phone conversation he lied to his parents that he paid her $ to get him a green card. Now he concerns that could that phone call have possibly been recorded due to the random wiretapping on international calls by NSA( or DHS, Im not sure about which agency but I know there is at least one spying on international phone calls).

He is in love with the girl but just for getting around with his parents he lied about it on phone. Hes scared that the content of the phone conversation could caught NSAs attention and been recorded. NSA could ve reported him to USCIS.

Is it possible?

No one can speculate on what NSA captured or didnt capture. However, you can bet that large proportion of peoples calls are randomly captured and analyzed for threat levels to the US. As for your friend, he has more problems with his parents than with USCIS, if they are racists, then he should marry a woman whom they can accept, except that his wife is going to have hellish experiences with them. Racists are small-minded people, but what is more problematic is that your friend seem to believe that lying to them is a moral thing. He needs to just move-on and leave this woman alone, especially if he cant stand up to his parents about his true feelings towards the "black girl", because it seems as if they are more accepting of his lies that he paid her for the green card. Is the fact that he claim he paid her, the reason his parents will accept her till he gets the green card? If the marriage is a sham, dont worry, USCIS is going to rip his head-off when he gets caught, deport him and permanently bar him from ever entering the US.

Hollywood thanks you for your gullibility........... Funny reply bro. Anyway if you google it you ll find tons of info about the NSAs warrantless wiretapping, especially on international phone calls. I believe the gov record all phone calls , the thing is r u worthy their investigation. I dun know if NSA will report any suspicious calls to USCIS. I guess they might not have time or $ to keep an eye on non terrorist but my friend is paranoid indeed. He thinks once he applies for immigration papers his name will be pulled out off FBI name check " Mr. xxx , marriage fraud, we have evidence of your phone conversation....."
