I as US citizen am planning to apply for permanent residency application of my father only (mother passed away). I believe I have to apply for I130 Do I need to apply for I 480 also concurrently?
Second, question I am facing is he is in presently in 80s and it is kind of difficult to collect all the records- A. To prove that we have father and son relationship (I have metric cert where his name as father is mentioned but not mother). am not sure how to present the documents suggesting that we have legal relationship. I was reading their instructions which suggest that My birth certificate should have both parents name and both parent should be married before my birth. I dont know how to present these papers. Any suggestion? Someone suggested about affidavits- Can someone share the wording to be used in such affidavits, please.
Thanks

bigbull99,
I could not find the attachment could you please repot the link of format please.
honneyhappy,
Please see the U.S. State Department websites Reciprocity table (google for it) and select the country in question for information about what documents are available in that country and what the State Department allows as evidence. USCIS relies on the same information (the same website, in fact).
What documents did you already present when you immigrated? Are the required documents in your immigration file? Could you direct USCIS to that file?
Is he in the U.S. and is he in status? How did he enter?
