Immigration Site

Hi I applied for my mom and married sister family in August 2010. The NAC is dated 19th August. I just started this thread to help me keep a record of my timelines. The CP is at Chennai. It is still in intial review state and I read in other threads that it takes up to 6 months for my moms I 130 approval so, for now i am just waiting. If there is anyone who is kind of in the same situation join me. It helps to know if there is any august filers out there and if you have any kind of input it is greatly appreciated!!!

I am also in the same boat. I will be filing for my dad end of OCT 2010, for CP in chennai. I have all the document s ready, just waiting for his birth certificate to get to me in the mail. I heard it should take 6-8mts from start to finish.
I an sending I-130.My citizenship proof, My birth certificate, My dads Birth certificate,and his marriage certificate. Is that enough? or am I missing some thing. I live in MA. I would like to be in touch with you as we will be in close by time frame. Is it ok?

I think the main one is birth certificate now that they have made it all computerized it is actually pretty easy to obtain one. And other than that I think u should be ok until they let us know what our next step is. We live in Seattle area and so the processing is thru CSC.

Oh did you attach your naturalization certificate and copy of your passport pasges that helps too!
