I-130 marriage certificate question
My cousin has applied for his wife (she is in India). The documents needed are certified copy of marriage certificate. What does that mean? Can she get it notarized? She went to the registrars office and they told her they dont know what a certified copy is...

Certified copy means a copy certified by the Countys Registrar of Marriages/Registrar of deeds that issued the marriage certificate not by a notary.
