I have Green Card since May 2008 and I got married about a month ago. What should I do? My spouse is outside of USA, in my hometown! Is there anyway that expedite the procedure? I have checked processing date on uscis.gov website says between 5 to 35 months depends where you filed!
Any commend will help, please tell more details as much you can. Thanks.

It will be ~5 years before a visa becomes available for your spouse assuming you stay a PR; you will be a citizen before then and then file for her. Thatll take around 6 months.
Yes. Your naturalisation will expedite the process.

you mean shr is gona be away for 5 years?!
actually that could not be true! with my previous experience it took 3 years! my x-wife applied for me when she was green card holder in november 2005 and i got NVC visa in august 2008! but that time we had already divorced i did not need her benefit and i got my own green card may 2008!
Hence i need usefull info who knows shorter way! not saying like 5-6 years!!!!
