Do you mean her brother in law is a joint sponsor, for the financial requirement of the Affidavit of Support?
You said your wife is petitioning for you -- is she a permanent resident? Or citizen?
what are the types of questions they ask during the interview?
For a marriage-based GC, they can ask a wide variety of questions -- information about your relationship from how you met all the way until now and your living arrangements, and they may ask each of you personal information about the other (e.g. what is your spouses middle name, which city was your spouse born in, etc.).
Are you inside or outside the US? If youre interviewing outside the US at a consulate, the questioning will be different because they dont expect you to be living together yet if youre outside the US, and your wife wouldnt need to be at the interview.
