My husband and I are scheduled for interview on November 29! I am nervous and excited at the same time!
I have my AP, but am scared to travel out of the country since I overstayed more than 120 days.
Now if after the interview my passport gets stamped and I get approved verbally, would it be safe to travel even though the physical green card isnt with me yet? The reason I ask is my husband and I SO want to go to the Philippines (where my family is) for Christmas!
Thanks in advance!

Once they stamp your passport with the temporary green card, its good as a physical green card. I can assure you that once your interview is done with no issues, you will get your physical green card within ten days.
Good Luck & Salamat
thats stamp is proof of approved status .... u can travel on it ...without any problem .... ( i did as well when i got mine 2006 without any problem ) ...
An overstay of 180 days or more is the key. What is your number? If it is between 120 and 180, you can still use your AP document.

Can I Travel As soon as Interview is APproved?
