This is what happened to this young bright man who was detained and deported back to Sri Lanka by the Obama Administration. His parents broke the law when he was 3 years.

Thanks Al, a really good read.............
Him and his friends are so quick to point out that he shouldnt be punished for his parents mistake - because he was three and he is a good kid blah blah blah. But what they forget is that he sure enjoyed ALL THE BENEFITS that are the direct result of this mistake.
I am all for immigration - LEGAL IMMIGRATION. Just because he was able to get into the country doesnt make him more special than someone who has been waiting for legal immigration. Granting him ANY benefit is a slap on the face of MILLIONS who are waiting for their turn in legal immigration.

No, it isnt a slap in the face to anybody if we allowed him to finish his degree before leaving. He didnt put himself in that situation, and giving him some kind of temporary status for a few years would not do anything to hurt the millions who are waiting in line for a green card.
Let this be a warning to all undocumented immigrants
