Hi,

Currently in the US on A1 visa, but will end this job in the end of the year. New employer will apply for E-2 essential.

I am married to a greencard holder and with the reduced processing time for i-130 my wifes friend, immigration lawyer, says file i-130 asap.

My employers immigration lawyers says wait with the i-130 as long as we are going to do E-2 and i-130 may get me in trouble when travelling in/out of US.

My wifes friend do not think applying for E-2 after doing i-130 should pose any problem.

Any expericence or knowledge to share?
