Had my interview yesterday. Got there at 9. Appointment at 10. Got called in at 10:50. Interview was like 20-25 min long. Most pleasent interview ive ever read about.
Walk in Introduce ourselves swear in.
Hand DL and ID to IO.
She asks how old I was when I came to US. I said 4.
She then said my passport (i was 2) reminded her of her son.
She then asked how we met. We showed her our HS diplomas .
The rest was like just a conversation between 3 adults with her randomely asking for documents.
It was seriously the easiest interview ive ever been to. We didnt get asked anything really other then how we met, the rest was more like a conversation. She said she was impressed with how we were continuing our education and marriage while having struggle of low income/immigration. We werent even halfway done when she said ok your approved. She finally pulled out paperwork and checked off some stuff, made sure we had right adress, took 4 pictures from our album of 200 and took our wedding license, bills, bank statements, etc. Gave me interview approval letter and then her and my wife continued to have conversation. She didnt take my EAD but she did make a copy of it along with my passport. She did take my I-444 (older version of I-94).
Anywho I just wanted to thank you all for the guidance and answers to questions.

Congrats! Looks like the matching high school diplomas set the tone for smooth sailing through the rest of the interview.
Have you checked the I-485 status online yet, to see if it says "card production ordered"?

Congratulations!!! I am glad we were able to help you out, dont be a stranger to this board.
The I-485 and I-130 have never updated online for some reason. Still says "Initial Review" Even when my biometrics were sent and interview letter. The only one that updated online was the EAD, i got an email when it was sent.
