Is it ok to file for GC all right after marriage and move in with the US citizen spouse?

I wanted to know if there would be any problems to file for all GC paperworks right after marriage and right after moving in together?
I ask this because if that is the case, the couple would have very little joint-statements such as bills, etc etc. and all those questions they ask in the interview in household would be pretty hard or many not being able to answer because the two moved in not too long ago

mrunner, I am in similar situation as you. I am married since last few months but my wife is still working in another state. We have been adding her to my bank accounts, lease, utility bills etc over the period of last month or so. Weve been dating since 2008 and flying back and forth every other weekend. She will move only after I file for her AOS (which in itself not possible until I become USC in another month or so).

Our marriage is bona-fide, we have trail of documents to prove that (photos over last 2 years, phone bills, itineraries, marriage ceremony pics in presence of our parents). We are doing the best we can to create joint statements, but we also may not have much time between now and day of the interview.

isnt there a good amount of time period since the application of AOS then the interview? maybe that will give enough time to get joint-statements together and actually live together so that interview goes smoother??? thats what i was kinda thinking, but idk if that would be enough time.
for me personally, it would be ideal if me and my spouse lived together for a while then submitting the AOS but bc of the our financial situation, idk if we can afford to wait because i cannot just live with her without getting my EAD for too long (im expecting at least 3-4 months to get my EAD after i submit everything)

<sorry, wrong post>
