Filing I-130 - Which USCIS Office has jurisdiction?

Hi

Im Greencard holder living in Irving, TX and petitioning my minor child. I lisubmitted the I-130 petition form to Chicago lockbox two weeks ago and just recently received the I-797C, NOA receipt notice. No problem whatsoever with the NOA, except that I noticed at the lower left corner of the form for the USCIS Office address it is showing as California Service Center (CASC). This puzzled me as I live here in TX, which has its own USCIS Service Center, TXSC. I would supposed that since I live in Texas, the jurisdiction should belong to TXSC. This is quite concerning since CASC processing time is longer than TXSC processing time. Can someone help me here? Is the USCIS office identified in the lower left corner of the I-797C form identifies the USCIS office that will process my petition?? I appreciate any help.

Thanks!

vkingS Same thing with mine too for wifes I-130 under F2A. I know same with couple of others who filed in Aug recently. I live in east coast and that way it would be either TSC or NSC or VSC. Its USCIS decides depend on the work load.. may be all other these are processing Citizen based I-130. Those are normally considered high priority as there is no visa wait period. These are just my guesses..
