Please help me to bring my family to the US

Hi everyone

I got my green card on 11/01/2005 (I was single) , then I got married on 10/01/2008 (outside the USA and then came back to USA till now). now I wanna apply for US Citizenship so I can bring my wife here. Could some on please give me some information about this situation?

Note: I heard that I can not bring my wife here when I got US citizenship , because I got married before I got my citizenship, is it right?

Please help me
Thanks
Mike

No, you can apply for your wife right now and it will probably take sometime before she gets immigrant visa.
However, you are eligible to apply for citizenship - so once you have your citizenship, if your case is still pending, it will definitely help since spouse of USC doesnt have to wait for a visa number.

thanks VisaNutz,
Do you recommend that she wait until I got my citizenship? and after I got my citizenship then I apply for her?
