My girlfriend is moving to me, Im in Texas, she is coming from Belgium. Our plans were set into motion with no turning back well before we learned of K visas so we have no choice but to go with our original plan of her coming here in late Oct and get married in Dec then go to immigration and start process of her being able to stay because we are married. Maybe not the best way to go but we have no choice but to do it this way. Can anyone give me some info or advice on what to expect and how to get it started. We know they will initially view us as possible fraud but we are 100% confident that we will pass thier interview simply because this is not fraud. We love each other, have been in a relationship for two years, she has visited here once already and our main goal is to get married and in a few years both of us move permently to Belgium. Any help or ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Even if your marriage is genuine, you can still botch the interview if you dont prepare thoroughly. For example, see http://forums.immigration.com/showthread.php?316019 and http://forums.immigration.com/showthread.php?316040

Congratulations on finding the love of your life. I am sure you are in love with each other, once you get married, please let us know how love is working out...lol!!! Enough of Dr Phil. First of all, you have premeditated intent to circumvent the immigration laws of the US, because you clearly know there is a K visa route, but you are choosing to skip them and have her violate the law. Clearly, this is a patriotic thing to do! You claim there is no choice but this way (flying her from Belgium and getting married), but the facts dont support your assertion, because once again, there is a K visa for you.
I like your self-confidence that they will view you as fraud, but you are 100% certain you will pass their interview. Wow...wow....I like this self-confidence, I understand this is only available in TX. You are in for a nice surprise once you get married to your Belgium sweetheart, because here is the line of questioning which USCIS will likely pursue during the adjudication of your case:
How long have you been dating before you decided to get married? When did you get engaged? In the last 2 years, when you (US citizen) went to Europe to visit her? Can you please provide us with documentation showing joint ownership of anything (including, utilities, cellphone, car, life and health insurance, rental lease or home ownership, car or dog ownership). You actually have a high bar to clear with USCIS on your case in proving to them you didnt get married for immigration fraud. Here is a thread which you should read before proceeding with your elaborate scheme.

I would advise you go the K visa route, it will create less problems for you and you will still get to marry your woman within 90 days and honeymoon in Mexico without any problems. However, people who want to disregard sane advise are part of this forum, but we usually see them with problems down the line after ignoring what appeared to be cogent counsel.
a little guidance needed please
