What happens after finger prints?

Here is the situation : I am currently under an L-2 Visa. My father is under an L1 visa. We applied for our green card (Around May?). Everything is going smoothly. We got our Finger prints done on the first week of July.

Should we expect our green card around 3 months after that date? If so, is there any type of interview left for me? Or do we just get something in the mail - Basically, what happens next?? My concern is that my passport runs out at the end of October and I have to make a slightly expensive trip just to renew it. I am just trying to figure out what happens after the finger print process and if I even need to renew my passport before it expires. And if my passport does expire, what would be the consequences for getting my green card?

Thanks for your replies.

If you are a Citizen of high fraud rate country there will likely be a interview. L visa and L blanket petitions have a very high rate of fraud and its investigated thoroughly. If everything is legal and all papers are in order you got noting to worry about, interview or no interview who cares.
