GC questions...US citizen - son, father in US vistor status

hi all,

I am a US citizen and my father just came to the US as a B1 visitor last month, I-94 expires in 6 months, Nov 2011.

I now want to file GC application for him while he is here, what forms do I have to file for him, just i130 and i485?

what about i864 affidavit of support and i693 medical examination?

do i file i864 and i693 later when they approve i130 and i485?

i think i have to submit his birth certifcate for the application; however, he was born in china in 1948 and he was never issued a birth certificate, except a government issued ID from Hong Kong with his Date of Birth...is that sufficient enough?

thanks so much!!!

File all applications together - I-130, I-485, I-693 and I-864. He will need a birth certificate or a letter from competent authority that a birth record is not available. Along with this letter affidavits from 2 close relatives affirming his birth are also required.

Your birth certificate showing his name as your father is also a requirement.

what about g-325a? mail in with all the above forms?

what about g-325a? mail in with all the above forms? Yes, I missed that! It is required. Mail all documents together with fees, photos and copies of supporting documents.
