My USC wife has petitioned me and we had our interview. Its been over a week but case status on USCIS is still "testing and interview" and nothing in mail yet. I know its only been so short and I should give more time but I cant help but to be worried.
Anyways, I just wanted to know how common/rare is it that IO actually makes a surprise visit to where we live? Ive heard stories of this and know that it does actually happen, but Im just wondering... how common or rare is this? Btw, we do actually live together of course!!
It is not that common. It borders on being called a rare event. This forum has seen a few such cases. One thing that I believe was common in all those cases was that the foreign spouse was an F-1 overstayer who married a USC. If I remember correctly, it was ICE and not USCIS that paid the visit.

As far as I remember, all the surprise visits reported on this forum were after the fingerprinting and interview. Usually very long after.
I was visited. And I know three other people that got visited as well. Its more common than people think...
How common/rare is it that IO actually makes a surprise visit to you & your spouses house?
