My Indian Passport has expired as of last June and I am wondering if I can wait till after my AOS Interview and getting my Green Card in Hand before applying for a new passport at the San Francisco Indian Consulate?
I have a valid California Drivers license I can use as a current ID.
Till I get my green card in hand, I am done with my H-1 and my status is based on me having filed my Adjustment of Status Package based on my marriage to my US citizen spouse.
Please share your experiences.
