What are my options if i want to get married again. I have been divorced for last 3 yrs and i have a green card thru my marriage. If i wanted to get remarried.. can i sponser my spouse?
What are the advantages of marrying someone who is US based and is on a visa like Visit or F1 or H1 as opposed to someone In India..

Can someone share their experiences and guide me?

Thank you. You can marry a USC with no problem, thats for sure, but as far as someone who is on nonimmigrant visa, I believe there is a 5 year restriction. You have to wait 5 years after you get your gc before you can sponsor your new spouse.

I already have a Greencard.. i was told i would need to wait 5 yrs to file for my citizenship.. is there a 5yr restriction on sponsering too?

No but if you sponsor as a green card holder, it will take years to get the person over. You may as well wait to get citizenship first
