U.S citizen sponsoring his brother over 21I have being in the united States for some years going to college, my older brother, who is a pharmacist and has being in the States for over 35years is willing to file for me but he doesn"t know what to claim me as. He has technically being my father after our dad deceased some couple of years back . My older brother is the one paying for my tuition and fees, i do not have any other relatives back home that is going to take care of me. I would like to know if he can file for me and what can he claim me as?he has some documents that he has being taking care of me and my father has it in his "will" before he died that my brother should take full responsibilities for me and my twin brother. Please I need your help and testimonies. Thanks
He should claim you as his brother, which you are.
Thanks for your reply.. what are the paper work does he need to fill out and which paper work do i need to complete too?Do you have any idea how long it would take me to get my green card if we both have all the paper work filled out and turned for processing?
Tough luck as you are over 21 it will take around 10 years its better to try through your employment.
