EAD and new SSN

This is my first post here...in other words im new to this forum.

Im currently in the process of changing my status. I recently received my EAD and acquired my SSN. I applied for a new job and they are requiring a background check, since this is my first time having a SSN I assume they wont find anything under my name but according to my resume I have previously worked before...could this be an issue to not hire me? (yes i was working with a fake ssn before)

Any suggestions? I have my job interview soon and I need to hand in the background check with it.

The background checks are looking mainly for criminal convictions. Theyll directly contact your prior employer if they want to check if you worked there. The employer is not going to tell them your SSN.

just an off-topic but relevant question: when I get my new EAD, do I have to make any changes to my SSN? I currently have SSN, but it says "No work except with authorization", so can I go to SS office to have that removed or that can only be done when I have GC?

@aspo I believe you would need the GC in order to remove that from your SSN. If you didnt had a prior SSN and you went and got one solely on the EAD it would have the same notice printed "valid for work only with DHS authorization"
